Five matches took place with the most anticipated match being the Ermelo derby between VOC United and Ermelo United.

The match, however, did not live up to expectations as VOC United emerged victors after two soft goals, scored by Thabo Phetho in the first half.

The second half was a goalless affair as VOC climbed up to fifth position in the log on 37 points, four points behind leaders Flymingo United.

The leaders were ruthless as they put seven goals past Stone Breakers FC, who came up short and did not register a goal to their name.

Local team, Sun City Gunners, won their match against Aramburg FC, scoring two goals.

Breyten United overcame a PR Barcelona side at the KwaZanele Stadium, in what was a five goal thriller.

They won their match 3 – 2.

Flymingo United is top the log on 41 points with Somhlolo FC following closely behind on 39 points.

Manzana FC round off the top three spots with 38 points.

Ermelo United’s loss see them slide to 16th place on 15 points, while Stone Breakers FC is in 17th position with 12 points.

Aramburg FC languishes at the bottom of the table with just 10 points after 19 matches played in the season so far.

The next round of matches begins on the weekend with teams fighting for the top four spots.
