Golf players dress up to raise funds

Players dressed up to support the Ladies Captain fundraising golf day at Walker Park.

EVANDER – Members of the Walker Park Golf Club had fun on the course for a good cause on Saturday, 4 February.

The club hosted the Ladies Captain Fundraising Golf Day and they had to dress up or pay a fine.

The theme was anything you would not wear on the golf course.

A few people dressed up and others paid up, but overall the day was a success.

All funds raised will go towards a renovation fund for the upgrading of the women’s locker room and bathroom.

The points were tallied in the Better Ball Alliance format and the winners, with 90 points, was the team of Cobus Smit, Elenor Theron, Sakkie Pelser and Albert Louw.
