Rally cars on show for public

Rally cars were on show and racing team members met the public at the scrutinising of the rally cars for the Secunda Rally on 19 May.

Kes Naidoo and Wilro Dippenaar (navigator and driver of the Ford Fiesta S2000 and members of the PZN racing team) showed off their car on 19 May before having it scrutinised by officials in anticipation of the Secunda Rally that was held on 20 and 21 May.

SECUNDA – Local residents had the chance to see some of their favourite rally cars and meet drivers, navigators and team members at the scrutinising of the cars that took part in this year’s Secunda Rally.

The evening was hosted by a number of local car dealerships, and it was the first opportunity for the public to see the cars for the 2016 Secunda Rally.

Ms Elenor Baiocchi, spokesman of South African Rallying, was excited about the turnout and emphasised that the Secunda Rally supports the local community.

“This event is owned by Secunda and the local businesses.”
