RC Club hosts round seven

Paul Els won Class A for 4-wheel drive vehicles on the short course track with 140 points, second was Pieter Janse van Vuuren with 122 points and Kobus Uys was in third place with 105 points.

The Standerton Remote Control Club held round seven of their “Top Guns” competition on 1 June.

Paul Els won Class A for 4-wheel drive vehicles on the short course track with 140 points, second was Pieter Janse van Vuuren with 122 points and Kobus Uys was in third place with 105 points.

Luanco Eksteen won Class B for 2-wheel drive vehicles with 140 points, in second place was Pieter Janse van Vuuren with 129 points and in third place was Claudio de Melo with 112 points.

Marino de Melo won Class C for the buggies with 144 points, second was Luanco Eksteen with 114 points and third was Pieter Louw with 99 points.

The last race was Class D, which was an open category, with Pieter Janse van Vuuren in first with 138 points and Luanco Eksteen, Mario de Melo and Pieter Louw all tied in second with 130 points.

The club will be competing in the National Championships at the Phoenix Raceway in Parys from 21 to 22 June.
