eMbalenhle Police nab notorious robber

eMbalenhle Police have finally nabbed the town’s most wanted armed robber.

They arrested the 24-year-old suspect in a string of business robberies after he admitted himself to the Ermelo Hospital with a gunshot wound he sustained while fleeing from the police on the night of May 17.

The hospital personnel informed the police about the man from eMbalenhle with bullet wounds and that they transferred him to a hospital in Pretoria.

Constable Busi Mthethwa, the eMbalenhle police spokesperson, said the suspect is under the police guard in hospital.

Mthethwa said as soon as the man is discharged from hospital, he will appear in court to face multiple charges of armed business robberies.
