Bronkhorstsrpuit Police search local high school

Learners were warned about taking substances to school and also against bullying.

The Bronkhorstspruit police visited Hoƫrskool Erasmus in Bronkhorstspruit on May 8 to search learners for drugs and illicit objects and warn them to refrain from bullying others.

The Visible Policing Commander, Colonel Sibonisile Mlaba, together with the Departments of Education and Community Safety, did the search, during which they confiscated four vapes and a dagga joint.

The police explained to the learners that schools prohibit such items. Hoƫrskool Erasmus allegedly has a serious bullying problem.

The police ask that parents discuss bullying with their children at their homes.
