Alleged serial killer from eMbalenhle in court again

Case postponed to May 6.

The Secunda Regional Court again postponed the trial of alleged serial killer Themba Shongwe, to May 6 for other witnesses from the Forensic Science Laboratory to come and testify.

Shongwe is on trial for the murder of several girls in eMbalenhle. The murders, as well as numerous other crimes were allegedly committed between 2016 and 2019.

The murdered girls are Nokulunga Nkutha (13), Lerato Nkutha (11) who were cousins, Cynthia Masilela and Mihle Zingamo (14).
