The South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) protested in front of the circuit office of the Department of Education on February 8.

According to Sipho KqNodada, deputy chairperson of the Seratu branch, they demanded a replacement of the circuit manager for Lekwa West.

The Standerton Advertiser sent a WhatsApp message to Jasper Zwane, provincial spokesperson of the department on February 9, informing him about the protest and enquiring when a replacement is due.
