They ensure that the Standerton River Park is clean before and after each parkrun and also assist runners and provide photography for the event.

This past week’s volunteers were Antoinette Herbst, Conrie Roets, Elmien Vermaak, Fadeela Omar, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Lydia Roets, Preyanka Dorasamy, Renete de Sousa, Ruwan Vermaak, Sean Jansen van Rensburg, Sylvy Moodley, Wessel Herbst and Zeldine Strydom.

The parkrun is free and offers walkers, joggers, and athletes a chance to compete against themselves.
