Armed robbers target Digi Mag in Secunda

Police responded to the scene of an armed robbery that happened at Digi Mag in Secunda, after 11:00 this morning, October 9.
According to the information received, four suspects had entered the building earlier in the morning to enquire about the property. It is believed that this was a scouting tactic.
Two of the four suspects then returned armed with guns while the other two suspects waited in a getaway vehicle.
Because no money is kept on the premises; the two suspects stole laptops, tablets, and cellphones belonging to the Digi Mag personnel.
No one was injured during the robbery; and according to Martin Brown of Digi Mag business continues as usual.
The two suspects then fled the scene with the other two suspects in a blue WV Blue Polo with a fake registration number of KJR 372 MP.
According to the information received the registration number belongs to a black 2005 VW.
Martin Brown thanked police and SSS Security and Stratcon for their fast response.
