Quick response from GMM Fire Department stopped a house on Camborne Road in Evander from burning down.
The fire broke out at around 15:00, today, August 10.
According to our source who was on the scene, five people were inside the house when they heard a sound coming from the DB board.
A spark from a cable then set the thatched roof on fire.
The people managed to escape through a window and immediately called for help.
According to our source fast reaction from those in the house and GMM Fire Department spared both lives and the home from being destroyed.
