Its smoking time again in Bronkhorstspruit
Events during the day will include the main attraction of a BBQ smoking competition with celebrity judges, prize giveaways, an open bar market, smoked food Stalls, a chili eating challenge, horse riding, live bands and line dancers.
The South African Fire Smoke and Meat Association will be hosting its second annual BBQ meat smoking competition and community event at Sinkshack in Bronkhorstspruit on August 5.
The festivities begin at 10:00 and entry is free of charge.
This is a non-profit community event organised by Jacques Engelbrecht, George Botha and Gareth Daniel.
The trio decided a year ago to give back to the community and try to help Bronkhorstspruit with what they know to do best, food,
and what better way than an outdoor meat festival.
