One vehicle stolen, one vehicle recovered in Standerton
A black VW sedan, with registration number JLF 899 MP, was stolen.
Kasselman Security Services (KSS) reported on July 3 about a robbery in Heunis Street, Stanwest.
According to KSS, six suspects, armed with a handgun and knives, hit the homeowner over the head.
A black VW sedan, with registration number JLF 899 MP, was stolen. His wife did not sustain any injuries.
According to KSS, only two people were at the home. The homeowner was taken to Mar-Peh Mediclinic.
KSS also sent information about a business burglary in the industrial area, Standerton on July 1.
Upon arrival, the reaction officer noticed a suspect running away from the premises. He gave chase and arrested the suspect.
SAPS was dispatched and the suspect was handed over to the police. KSS recently reported on the recovery of a stolen vehicle as well.
According to KSS, a security company’s camera system was triggered. The vehicle, which was reported stolen in Trichardt on June 6, entered Standerton from Secunda Road. The vehicle was identified in town and pulled over by KSS.
One suspect was apprehended and handed the vehicle over to Standerton SAPS.
