Accident on N17 near Leandra tollgate involving truck and bakkie claims two lives
The cause of the accident is unknown, however, sources on the scene said both the bakkie and truck were found in the same lane on the same side of the road.
With many people leaving for the long weekend, motorists are warned to drive with care.
The Easter long weekend has already started off with an accident involving a truck and bakkie on the N17, near the Leandra tollgate at around 11:20 today, April 6.
The cause of the accident is unknown, however, sources on the scene said both the bakkie and truck were found in the same lane on the same side of the road.
Two occupants of the bakkie died.
The driver of the truck was transported to hospital with moderate injuries.
Leandra’s GMM fire department, EMS, police and M&B Motors attended to the scene.
