Sasol 1 beat eMbalenhle Cricket Club on January 21 in a match held at eMbalenhle.
Sasol 1 decided to bat first and managed to score 139 runs all out. Pieter Vrolijk was the best batsman for Sasol 1, scoring 46 runs.
eMbalenhle only managed to make 39 runs. Ignus Koekemoer took 5/21 while George Louw took 5/17.
Sasol 1 won with 100 runs and secured a bonus point.
Sasol 2 Bulldogs took on the Bethal Cricket Club on January 22 at the Sasol Cricket Club in Secunda and Bethal won the match with one wicket.
Sasol 2 batted first and made 241 runs all out. Nicus Boshoff was Sasol 2’s top scorer and made 82 runs.
