GMM firefighting services and Jelani Security extinguished a house fire that happened in Caledonrivier Street this afternoon Wednesday, January 18.
It would seem that the fire broke out in the main bedroom of the house.
How the fire started is unknown, as according to residents the house has been unoccupied for many years after the death of the owner.
According to residents, the house is also known for drug and criminal activity.
Police, MavCorp, CPF and other security services are currently on scene.
