UPDATE: Two employees of Bethal Correctional Services will be laid to rest
Kaki Roelofse and Edwin Bruce both worked at the Correctional Services in Bethal.
Kaki Roelofse’s funeral service will be held at the NG Kerk Bethal-Oos at 12:00 on Monday, October 24.
Edwin Bruce’s funeral service will be in the same church on Friday, October 28 at 11:00.
Single vehicle accident claims lives of two Bethal men
Two men died in an accident near Bethal this afternoon, October 17.
Emergency services responded to the accident that happened at about 15:00 on the Halfgewonnen Road, about 10km from the R35.
Details around the accident could not be confirmed, however, Ridge Times has come to learn that one of the deceased is a well-known resident and Bethal Correctional Service employee, Kaki Roelofse.
Edwin Bruce, also an employee of the Correctional Services in Bethal, also died in the accident.
According to sources, the two men were flung from the vehicle.
All City Towing recovered the vehicle.
