The office of Social Crime Prevention Bronkhorstspruit and Ekangala together with the Department of Community Safety, BHS CPF patrollers, Siyabangena, Mamelodi patrollers, traffic wardens and Hero Security Company embarked on a school search.
The searches were conducted on January 22 in the areas of Rethabiseng and Zithobeni at Mpumelelo Secondary School, Dan Kutumela Secondary School and Kgoro Primary School.
During the search, rolled dagga was confiscated at the Dan Kutumela Secondary School.
The MEC for the Department of Education and Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation, Matome Chiloane, paid a visit to Mpumelelo Secondary School and Kgoro Primary School.
“In addition, I also encouraged learners of the Kgomo Primary School to report any form of bullying to their teachers and parents and refrain from bullying each other,” said Constable Cathrine Ramovha, corporate communications officer at the Bronkhorstspruit police.
