The Secunda Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) Group is hosting a Coffee, Craft and Care morning on October 19.
According to one of the organisers, Carla Potgieter, this morning will be a time for anybody who struggles with parenthood, to relax.
“It is not just a morning for mothers with special needs children, but more a morning to spoil yourself if you want to just get out of your house for two hours,” said Potgieter.
Men or women are welcome to join on this day and Potgieter invited any parent who are struggling to talk to them as they have a support network.
“All parents face challenges at some stage as parenthood these days are tough.”
This morning will kick off at 09:00 and take place at the NG Kerk Secunda-Oos/Goedehoop congregation.
Tickets are R150 per person or R250 for two people.
For more information or to buy your ticket, contact Potgieter at 076 876 3852 or Retha Gous at 084 952 2345.
