Woman in Standerton court for buttocks stab

A man was stabbed in his buttocks at his place of work on October 6. Video footage of the incident indicates a struggle before the incident.

Phindile Frorence Madonsela appeared in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on October 8 for allegedly stabbing a man in the butt.

The incident happened at the victim’s place of work on October 6.

Video footage of the incident shows a woman entering the kitchen and chasing a man around a table. The woman in the video appears angry or agitated.

Several other people, identified to the Standerton Advertiser as staff, try to intervene, but to no avail.

Several kitchen items were used to threaten the victim, including a spatula, wooden spoons and what could be a knife or a pair of scissors.

At 12:46 footage shows the woman launching a sharp object towards the man, it bounced off the wall and cut into the flesh of the man’s buttocks.

Kasselman Security Services and SAPS were alerted and an ambulance took the victim to the Standerton Hospital.

The reason for the attack is still unknown. No further information was released at the time of going to print.
