Kinross police need help in identifying a deceased man

Anyone with information who can help identify the deceased can contact Sgt Kennedy Botha on 082 499 6918.

A hunter reported to the Kinross police on October 18, 2021, at around 20.30 a body of a decomposed man found on a farm.

The man was busy hunting when he came across the decomposed body.

Police were summoned to the scene. According to information received from police, the state of decomposition shows the deceased had been there for months.

The deceased was found wearing carvela shoes, black pants and a jacket.

The body is still being held at the Evander Forensic Pathology. Police are waiting for the family to help identify the deceased so that burial arrangements can be made.
