Maria Old Age Home in Evander celebrates two years

Founder thank sponsors for contributions.

Residents and staff of the Maria Old Age Home, in Evander, celebrated the home’s second birthday on October 1.

The staff and volunteers took about 25 residents to the Secunda Duck Pond to celebrate and used it as an opportunity for the residents to get out.

The group enjoyed cake, boerewors rolls and other snacks.

The founder of the Maria Old Age Home, Zama Khosa, thanked everybody who sponsored food or other goods and families of the residents who allowed the staff members to take the residents for an outing.
