Black belt from eMbalenhle bags two titles at provincial sports awards
Fourth Dan Black Belt karateka, Dumile Mlungu, was awarded the sportsman of the yar and sports star of the year awards at the Mpumalanga Sports Awards held in Mbombela.
Black belt holder Dumile Mlungu received the sportsman of the year and sports star of the year awards at the Mpumalanga Sports Awards held in Mbombela on September 14.
Dumile’s karate journey began in 2001 in eMbalenhle and holds a fourth Dan black belt.
He also bagged a gold medal in Japan in March.
Dumile is a vehicle administration officer in the fleet management department in Secunda and is a member of the Sasol Recreation Club eMbalenhle.
