Learners from Vaalrivier School scoop several trophies for their talents

Vaalrivier school hosted the Festo on their school grounds.

Vaalrivier School (VS) welcomed schools to the annual Festo, which they hosted on their school grounds.

Learners had the chance to display heartfelt poetry, entertaining song and dance and breathtaking artwork.

Vaalrivier learners did exceptionally well in all categories and several of them received trophies.

Gift Njemla and Andile Danisa won trophies for prepared reading. Sizo Selepe and John Ross Fourie earned trophies for prescribed poetry.

Ndumiso Mkwanazi received trophies in the prepared reading and dramatised prose.

In the junior solo division, Vuyo Mthembu won a trophy. Siphesihle Mazokwana received a trophy for excellence in crafts.

The junior singing group and senior traditional dance group received trophies as well.
