Golden Eagle netballers off to champs

“This generous contribution is helping young athletes take their talents to the next level.”

Netball players from the Golden Eagle Netball Club in Rethabiseng, Tshwane region seven, will compete in the Netball South Africa 2024 Males Netball National Championship.

The competition will run from September 25 to 30 at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg. These players will represent Golden Eagle: David Mahlangu as the team manager for the Tshwane Netball U23A team, Kamogelo

Nkadimeng will play for the Tshwane Netball U23B team, and Samkelo ‘Smanga’ Thubana will play for the Johannesburg Netball U23 team.

“Without the support of TRACN4 this would not have been possible,” said Golden Eagle manager Mahlangu.

Samkelo ‘Smanga’ Thubana.

“It is such a heartwarming story to tell. TRAC is more than a road. It is also about building communities and investing in the future,” Mahlangu added.

Mahlangu said that without their sponsor, the club could not have participated in this event because the sponsor covered all costs for the players to compete at Ellis Park.

“This generous contribution is helping young athletes take their talents to the next level.

“Together, we can do more and achieve more, so we therefore thank our generous sponsor for their unwavering support and dedication to our club’s growth,” Mahlangu concluded.
