Kalies travel back in time

Kalie de Haas Primary School held its revue on September 11, 12 and 13. The audience was taken back in time as the learners danced through the ages.

Kalie de Haas Primary School celebrated its 70th birthday by jamming through the ages in their decade-themed revue.

In his address to the eager parents, school principal Sakkie Boshoff reminded everyone that time flies.

“Time wasted is time lost forever,” said Boshoff.

He expressed the school’s appreciation for each child and detailed how important it is to cherish their talents.

“Events like this one could be as important as sport and academics. For some children, it is worth even more because they learn about themselves and who they are,” Boshoff explained.

After thanking everyone involved in the revue and the parents who greatly contributed to the success of the revue, Boshoff welcomed the first performers to the stage.

These talented young learners introduced each new act to a different period.

The performances featured some of the best hits of the decades and the learners got to show off their hard work.

Teachers and parents alike were beaming with pride as their little ones dashed across the stage.
