Workers find body of newborn on dumpsite in Standerton

The workers on the Standerton Dumpsite were met with a horrific sight on September 5 upon finding the body of a baby discarded in a plastic bag.

The workers immediately alerted the authorities. According to sources, the municipal waste truck had recently offloaded waste from Ext 7.

Officials suspect the baby was alive after birth, but an autopsy will be held to establish the cause of death.
