Local school in Sakhile wins provincial cup
Lindilanga Primary School also won R100 000 in the Kay Motsepe League.
The Lindilanga Primary School’s soccer team in Sakhile won the provincial cup and R100 000 in the Kay Motsepe League.
The team began their journey in Kinross where they played three games. They then beat Laerskool Jeugkrag in the final match of the Gert Sibande regional competition.
Lindilanga then represented the Gert Sibande Region in Nelspruit on August 10, where they won after playing three games.
The team took the trophy and won R100 000. They will now proceed to the national competition to be played in Gauteng on September 28.
