The body of missing 29-year-old Katlego William Skosana was found in the veld along the R42 between Delmas and Bronkhorstspruit on August 20.
Skosana’s family reported him missing on August 19.
He was en route from Witbank to Midrand on the N12 in his dark grey VW Polo when he allegedly went missing.
Skosana’s car was found abandoned next to the Olifantsfontein gravel road on the R42 towards Bronkhorstspruit that same day.

With further investigation, and with the help of a tracking report, K9 search and rescue Middelburg and a drone, all locations were visited where the victim’s vehicle was stationary.
At one of the locations, the deceased was found next to the road in the tall grass. According to the police, Skosana was strangled.
At this stage, items found to be missing, are two cell phones and a work laptop valued at R40 000.
