Run for fun and your health with the Leandra Athletics Club, which will host its half-marathon on September 7.
The half-marathon will start at 06:00 from the Osizweni Special School. The entrance fee for the 21km run is R120 per person, and you must be 16 years or older.
The 10km run for runners 14 years or older costs R100 per person. There will also be a 5km fun run for all ages starting at 06.15. It will cost R50 per person.
Runners can buy a temporary license for the 21km and 10km run for R40.
The registration dates and times are September 5 from 12.00 to 17.00, September 6 from 12.00 to 15.00 and race day, September 7, from 16.00 to 17.30.
Cash prizes are up for grabs for men and women finishing in the top three spots in the 21km and 10km runs.
All participants who finish the run will receive a medal.
