Sakhile SAPS take to the streets for Women’s Day

A visibility operation was held on the same day, targeting unlicensed liquor stores in the Sakhile area.

The Sakhile SAPS celebrated Women’s Day with Operation Basadi on August 8.

The station’s Women’ss Network partnered with the Victim Empowerment Center, Traffic Control and CPF to conduct a roadblock on Palmer Street, where vehicles were stopped and searched.

A visibility operation was held on the same day, targeting unlicensed liquor stores in the Sakhile area.

According to the spokesperson of Sakhile Police the purpose of this day was to celebrate women in action.

The team handed out three fines at the roadblock.
