#MandelaMonth: Standerton SAPS gives back

The SAPS Standerton Social Cime Prevention Unit, the community in blue, Women’s Network, Men for Change and the CPF attended this charitable effort.

The Standerton SAPS celebrated 67 minutes for Mandela Day at the Standerton Taxi Rank.

The SAPS Standerton Social Cime Prevention Unit, the community in blue, Women’s Network, Men for Change and the CPF attended this charitable effort.

These organisations celebrated Mandela Day and the spirit of giving back to the community by donating soup, bread and snacks to those in need.

“We urged those we helped not to get involved with drug abuse and recruited them to be the eyes and ears of the police,” said Captain Gibi Mtsweni, the Standerton SAPS spokesperson.

Over 100 street dwellers attended the celebration.
