Bronkhorstspruit team cleans their town

The team works weekly to clean up Bronkhorstspruit.

The Team-Up to Clean-Up Bronkies team continued their weekly clean-up around Bronkhorstspruit.

This past week, they painted the roads, made the stop signs visible and cleared the kerbs around town.

Every week, the community and certain businesses contribute to cleaning Bronkhorstspruit.

The team comprises 18 paid workers. They removed illegal advertising boards on street lights and poles all over town.

The road signs are now visible in Bronkhorstspruit.

Vasti Mills, the founder of Team-Up to Clean-Up Bronkies, vowed to pressurise the City of Tshwane to replace missing stop signs.

“We also received about R2 500 in raffles at the Boeremark held on July 6.”

The team asked the regional head of Region 7, Jabu Mabona, to help with spray bottles and poison to stop the grass from growing on the kerbs.

Anyone who wants to get involved in the clean-ups can call Mills on 083 225 8777.
