Action Sports winter league begins in Secunda
The Meisters claimed first place in the Action Sports Secunda Autumn League mixed cricket finals.
Players competed in the Action Sports Autumn League cricket finals on July 6. In the men’s C league, No Run bagged first place. In second place was Megchem, followed by the Replacements in third.
The men’s D league winners were the Silly Sloggers. The Sons of Pitches ended second, and the Knights third.
The mixed league winners were team Meisters. Megchem Mix finished second, and the Jokers took third.
Players can now enter for the senior winter league starting on July 22 and ending on November 9.
The closing date for entries is July 16.
The sports available at Action Sports Secunda are:
• action netball (mixed and ladies);
• action hockey (men’s, women’s and mixed); and
• action cricket (men’s, women’s and mixed).
