Soup kitchen in Standerton feeds hundreds

The number of meals served grows each week.

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) held its weekly soup kitchen on July 4, where several children received meals.

According to Yolandi Kasselman, they dished up 390 meals.

The menu for this week consisted of hearty chicken soup over a bed of porridge, with a fresh piece of bread, made of leftover pizza dough.

The KSS soup Kitchen takes place every Thursday at 13:00 at the Kasselman offices.
