Body found in Vaal River in Standerton

A body was found floating in the Vaal River in the River Park area at about 09:30 this morning.

The unidentified man was spotted by locals.

The Standerton Police and the Fire Brigade retrieved the body. Kasselman Security Services also helped.

The case is currently under investigation.
