Khulula gets old SPCA premises in Evander

The announcement of the new NPO, Khulula Animal Welfare Society, was made public at Secunda Mall on June 1.

It is official. The NPO to eventually take over the old Highveld Ridge SPCA premises is now registered and named Khulula Animal Welfare Society.

The naming of the society was made known to the public at Secunda Mall on June 1. Khulula aims to provide a safe environment for surrendered, stray, and injured animals.

However, it needs funding and materials to renovate and maintain the old SPCA premises to ensure that animals get the best care and shelter.

Unfortunately, it cannot take in animals during this time because it needs to employ an operational staff team.

There is a wish list for necessities, such as a running vehicle, veterinary support and funding towards the premises’ daily upkeep.

Khulula Animal Welfare Society calls on locals and businesses to support its cause.
