Preparations begin for new centre in Bronkhorstspruit

Bertie Cilliers from Rawson Properties said this project will take about a year to complete.

Sewerage and stormwater pipes are being installed for a new shopping centre to be built at the corner of Lanham and De La Rey Street in Bronkhorstspruit.

Rawson Properties hired Groenkor Plumbing for this job.

Groenkor began the project on April 29, by digging and placing the necessary pipes and connecting them to Bronkhorstspruit’s main sewerage line.

A municipal official had to be present when they cut into the main sewerage line.

By the end of the month, they will place boards to indicate the construction of the centre.

Bertie Cilliers from Rawson Properties said this project will take about a year to complete. According to Cilliers, the names of the shopping centre’s occupants will be announced soon.

“We plan to bring new companies unknown to residents into Bronkhorstspruit. The shopping centre is going to be a work of art,” said Cilliers.
