Land Bank hosts a farmers day in Bronkhorstspruit

About 200 farmers attended.

The Land Bank values farmers. Its CEO, Themba Rikhotso, emphasised this during a farmers’ day at the sports centre in Bronkhorstspruit on March 14.

He reiterated the bank’s commitment to supporting the agriculture sector and thanked the almost 200 local farmers who attended the event.

According to Rikhotso, the event aimed to engage farmers, sharing important information with them beneficial to their farming business.

Land Bank invited key stakeholders to share valuable information with farmers contributing to their operation.
These partners included government at the national (DALRRD), provincial (GDARD) and municipal levels (City of Tshwane).

Suppliers such as Landbou Landini and Silagri exhibited their products and services at the event. The bank also helped prepare clients for the upcoming planting season to ensure they have all required documentation ready.
