Young athletes flock to athletics event in Standerton

Standerton Primary School hosted the Prestige Athletics competition at Laerskool Kalie de Haas on February 20.
This event is the highlight on the athletics calendar for eight schools – Standerton Primary School, Laerskool Kalie de Haas, Laerskool Jeugkrag, Laerskool Ermelo, Ermelo Primary School, Laerskool HM Swart, Laerskool Piet Retief and Laerskool Marietjie van Niekerk from Bethal.
The guests of honour and the officials were treated to breakfast before the meeting began, and the spectators enjoyed a day of top-quality athletics.

The learners strengthened friendships and made memories.
The top athletes received medals and trophies, and those who did not receive any can testify to a most enjoyable day.
