Two for Joy social club and Levays General Trading hosted a knock-out school tournament for 10 secondary schools in Lekwa this past week.
Learners from Jandrell, Khula-Sakhile, Thobelani, Khunjuliwe, Thuto-Thebe, Thobelani, Zikhetheleni, Azalea, Stanwest and Qondulwazi competed.
The first match was between Jandrell Secondary School and Khula-Sakhile Secondary School at the Sakhile Stadium on February 14.
Khula-Sakhile beat Jandrell 1-0.
The following matches are scheduled for February 21:
- Khula-Sakhile vs Thuto Thebe
- Thobelani vs Qondulwazi
- Both matches are at the Sakhile Stadium, and the kick-off time is 13:30.
- Stanwest vs Azalea
- Holmdene vs Zikhetheleni
Both matches are at Stanwest school grounds, and the kick-off time is 13:30. The semi-finals will be played at the Sakhile Stadium on February 28, and the kick-off time is 13:30.
The finals will be played at the same venue on March 6. The winning school will be awarded R20 000 from Levays General Trading.
Two for Joy will host a fundraising event on March 9.
