Young and old enjoyed the Bapsfontein parkrun

Bapsfontein hosted its weekly parkrun on January 20, which began at the Bapsfontein Hotel at 08:00.

The Bapsfontein parkrun promises to be a fun, free event organised by volunteers for the benefit of everyone. It is also a pet-friendly event where participants can bring their dogs to join the fun.

The event takes place every Saturday morning at 08:00 on the premises of the Bapsfontein Hotel, 10 Wolmarans Street, Nest Park, Ext 1.

According to the event’s Facebook page, the route is anti-clockwise around the inside fenced parameters of the Bapsfontein Hotel grounds with a loop in the middle and returning clockwise along the perimeter to finish at the start.

People who want to take part in the Bapsfontein Hotel parkrun or want to join the team of volunteers may email bapsfontein@parkrun.com.
