The Golden Oldies Runners Reunion will take place at Lake Umuzi on February 24. Runners who began running in 1978 until 2000 and their families are invited to attend the reunion.
The day will kick off at 08:00 with a parkrun/walk and the athletes will enjoy brunch together after the parkrun.
The athletes will then enjoy dinner in the form of a lamb barbeque at 15:00, with a live band for entertainment, a cash bar and a slideshow of photos and videos.
One organiser, Ria van Schalkwyk, said they would enjoy the rest of the evening by dancing and sharing memories.
