Cullinan celebrates summer with wine festival

Numerous estates displayed the wines they deemed fit for a summer event.

Cullinan hosted the eighth annual Cullinan Summer Wine Festival on November 4 and 5 at the Cullinan Library Park. The organisers divided the event into two different events, namely the winter and summer festivals.

In the summer section, estates from all over the Western Cape gathered to showcase their top wines.

Summer wine consists of white wines, Rosé, sparkling wines and Champagnes as well as a variety of liqueurs, whiskey, brandy and gin.

There was live entertainment by various artists such as West SA, Gerhard Supra and Hennie de Bruin en die Kitaar Kêrels.

At the winter festival, guests can look forward to beautiful red wines, port, sherry, muscadel, and Hanepoot as well as a variety of liqueurs, whiskey, brandy and cognac.

This festival will take place on June 1, also at the Cullinan Library Park.
