Police nab man for dagga in Trichardt

The police stopped and searched him.

A 55-year-old man will appear in Secunda Magistrate’s Court today [May 18] in connection with the possession of a large amount of dagga.

Members of Secunda K9 Unit were patrolling in the Trichardt CBD yesterday (May 17) at around 10:00 when they noticed a suspicious man sitting in front of a shop, holding a white big plastic bag.

The police stopped and searched him.

Inside the plastic bag, they found big 130 ziplock packs of dagga and 6000 small zipped packs of dagga, amounting to the street value of R32 600.

The police arrested the man.
