The Evander Hospital appreciate health workers

The CEO lauded the staff for fighting on the front lines during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Evander Hospital management held a Thanksgiving ceremony on April 20. All hospital departments were appreciated for work well done during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Madala Ndlovu compared the health workers from this hospital to soldiers who went to war and conquered.

“Our hospital in the Govan Mbeki sub-district was the most distressed hospital compared to other hospitals in Gert Sbande District and Mpumalanga. We have a large population because we are surrounded by mines and industries.

“As health workers you showed that you were not here for money but it is your calling to the health sector, not forgetting all other government departments such as the police.”

Madala said some of the staff were also hospitalised because they were infected while fighting on the front line.
