Cops arrest two in Bronkhorstspruit for kidnapping and extortion

During the investigation, the suspects called the woman and demanded money and goods to secure the safe release of the victim.

The Bronkhorstspruit police arrested two alleged kidnappers on April 18.

The arrests came after an investigation into a kidnapping four days earlier.

A woman received a call from an unknown person. This person told her her husband’s brother was with them, and she must not get the police involved.

This happened on April 14. The police were called, and a case of kidnapping was opened.

During the investigation, the suspects called the woman again and demanded money and goods to secure the victim’s safe release.
