Altogether 57 participants readies themselves on Saturday, April 1 at 08:00 for the 5km at the Standerton River Park.
Six athletes improved their times and eight new faces were seen.
Johan Ferreira reached the finish line in a time of 23:48, followed by Andiswamahlubi Hadebe who registered a time of 24:59.
Theo Schönfeldt completed the distance in 25:26, followed by Junior Mudau’s 26:24, a new personal best.
Kutloano Tsotetsi recorded a time of 29:05, while Leann Moll came in at 29:23.
Daleney Grobbelaar registered a time of 29:28, followed by a first-timer, Kevin Glover who reached the finish line in 30:52.
Rika Bezuidenhout’s time was 32:33 and that of Tristan Schoeman, also a first-timer, 33:08. Thikolelwi Mudau reached the finish line in 33:20.
Charl van Wyk, Hugh Robertson, Johannes Vosloo, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Jean Robertson, Marjorie Uys, Marli Griesel, Ruwan Vermaak and
Tharina Maree saw to it that participants enjoyed a smooth and safe event.
