Famsa holds annual general meeting in Secunda

SECUNDA – Famsa held its annual general meeting on Thursday, September 8 and elected a new committee.

Santa Vermaak was again elected as the chairman, with Tessa Stromvig in the vice-chair position this time, André Blom was elected as the treasurer, Karem Moore as the secretary and Elize Leibbrandt and Amanda Haywood as the additional members.

Stromvig was the guest speaker and shared with her audience the lessons she learnt in life after two traumatic experiences.

Famsa’s external auditor, Pieter Pretorius of Pretorius & Co, gave a report on Famsa’s finances and said everything is in order.

He decided to join Famsa for another term.

Famsa’s personnel reported on their individual counselling sessions, group counselling programmes and community education.
