Explosive boxing at Turffontein Racecourse
BRD Boxing Promotion breakthrough took place on September 10.
On the day, eight explosive fights and three from amateurs were witnessed by the spectators at Turffontein Racecourse.
Vuyo Maposa won on points against Ntokoza Msibi. Tristan Niado won by KO in round four against Jakim Mogadishu, while Morgan Hunter won by KO in round four against Penitence Duma.
Spectators were glued to their seats as Damian Pasley and Tendai Sinakoma’s fight ended in a draw.
Shaun Potgieter won on points against Kennedy St Pierre. Romeo Katompa won in the fourth round by TKO against Johnathan Sam, while Jason Medi won on points against Keegan Mills.
To end the evening, spectators were treated to a good fight by Joshua Studdard, winning by a KO round against Lemohang Mapitse.
Siphesihle White Diamond, who is a new member of the BRD Boxing Promotion, said: “I want to thank Manny Fernandez and his team for taking training and boxing to a new level. I enjoy the sport of boxing.”
Fernandes said, “I want to promote mainly development boxing to provide more opportunities for the boxers in the ring.”
